I seem to remember with my older children having success with bicarb and lavender oil in the bath. Does that sound right? Is bicarb ok?

Ds had chickenpox recently and I got something that I think is fairly new called poxcillin. It was a bit expensive but for what its worth I really think it helped- he was covered, everywhere, with pox most of them were proper blisters too, but he didn?t itch at all.

You can get it from the chemist, but I have heard that its cheaper in Wilkos if they have them where you are. I also did the oats thing which DS found interesting!!

bicarb works well,as does lavender oil ( i thought it would also be good to prevent scabs getting infected as it is antibacterial)
also, someone on here recommneded virasoothe gel, and it has been our saviour
thank you, whoever you were!
