Booster Jab for MMR

Can anyone help me with my confusion and quandry over the booster jab for MMR?

We had single vaccinations (due to cautious parenting and a child that fell ill with everything so needed to get over each vaccine individually we felt rather than have to deal with three at the same time) but I doubt I would do the same now.

Does anyone know if you need to have a booster at all as the single vaccines are supposed to have higher cover in any case?

We went down the single vaccine route and I believe we needed a second set to ensure immunity. Dont see why the triple MMR cant be used as this second set pre school?

second set is not to extend the life ofthe first set. It is to mop up the 10% where the jabs don't have any effect at all.

You can check to see if the first set created immunity and then decide if you want booster jabs or not.
The period of effectiveness is a whole other debate.

I haven't had them and I am not a cautious parent.
