Chicken pox - spots out and still high temp

Morning

DD2 (3) had her first spots on Thursday and is now covered. They are starting to dry up.
What I am surprised about is that every evening before bed, her temp has been shooting up.

Does this sound normal or do you think there may be an underlying cause?

I was always under the impression that a few days before the spots came, a temp was likely.

Anyone??

Thx

My DD came out in spots this morn - she's had a low temp since sat on and off. The temperature is just the bodys way of fighting the bad stuff so I suppose it's likely until she is better. Maybe call your GP to check?
