It's become apparent that my 6mo LO's ears are very different. His right hand ear is bigger and nearer to the front than the left hand one. He passed his newborn hearing test with flying colours, and it's not so obvious that most people notice but it is quite odd. Anyone had experience of this?

my DD1 has kind of Mr.Spock kink to one of her ears since birth. She also has no hearing problems.

No doubt she will think of it as horrid when she will become a teenager but whenever I look at her different ear I thank my lucky star how perfect she is (and her sisters are).

oh absolutely. Of course he'll prob hate it when he gets older but as problems go it appears to be minor. I just wondered if it's likely to get less or more obvious with time and if there IS any link to possible complications.

D'you think he'll notice? TBH, no-one will ever spend as much time looking at your (undoubtedly beautiful!) child as much as you do.

When I went to get my ears pierced at age 12, the lady put two dots on my ears to mark the spots, stood back and looked at me and said ;Do you know your ears aren't level?' Well, no, but I do now......

On a more serious note, I am not aware of this being linked to anything to worry about.
