Reaction to 3 month vaccinations?

DD had no obvious reaction to the month 2 vaccinations. She had the 3 month lot this morning, and initially just seemed a bit sleepy but this afternoon she woke up from her nap absolutely screaming, and seemed to be in pain. She didn't appear to have a temperature. She seems ok now, but was quite inconsolable for at least an hour until she eventually fell asleep on me. It would seem to be a strange coincidence for anything else to have caused this. Has anyone else had this type of reaction with their DC and the early immunisations?

I think it's quite common for them to be a bit uncomfortable after injections - unless it seems really serious, I just used to soothe them and wait for it to die down.

I hope she's OK now?!

Yup exactly the same thing happened to my DD after the 3 month ones. Oddly she was absolutely fine after both 2 month and 4 month ones. So don't assume the 4 month ones will be difficult too, they may be ok. Really hope she's feeling better now. As I remember it didn't last too long with my DD.

They get Men C with the 3 month jabs and that stings like a bugger, so is probably responsible for the screaming. She might have woken up with a sore leg.

It should only last a day or two, cuddles a cold flannel and Calpol would be my advice
