Geman measles

My baby has German measles. The rash is mainly gone now, but I've just noticed that the gland behind her left ear is very swollen and the skin is red. Has anyone had any experience of this? Any ideas on how to soothe it?

When I had german measles, the way they diagnosed it was looking for those raised glands.
Not sure what you can actually do about it as it's the lymph nodes doing their job and attacking the virus.
