Temporary blue spot between eyebrows.

The CM said today that DS (12 months) had a blue patch between his eyebrows when he woke up after his nap. She said that it lasted about 30 seconds, then disappeared. Having not seen it, I can't be sure how dramatic it was, etc. It's not likely to be anything nasty, is it?

I've no idea sorry! guess the best thing to do is wait and see if it comes back and maybe suggest that she takes a quick photo if it happens again?

GetThePartyStarted · 05/05/2010 13:27

Never heard of it sorry. Maybe he/another child had been playing with felt tips/sweeties then it got rubbed off?

ButterPie · 05/05/2010 13:28

Like a bruise? DD2 has a viable vein at the top of her nose, could it be that?

SpringyWho · 05/05/2010 13:40

bumpybecky, I've suggested that, but it's difficult to get him to sit still enough for a photo most of the time, especially racing against the clock!

It definitely wasn't colour from anything else - it was within his head.

I imagine it to be like a vein or something, but nobody's ever noticed it with him before. I suppose we'll just keep an eye out for it, but not worry too much - I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't missing something important that'd make you all say 'oh that!' - thanks for the replies

DS3 has a vein between his eyebrows and people ask me ALL the time 'what's that blue on his face?' DS2 had one too but as he's got older and his skin is tougher it isn't visible any more.
