Teething - canines coming through

I know that teething varies greatly from child to child, but I just wondered if anyone could tell me how long the teething of the canines lasts? My daughter is 18 months old and is teething really badly at the moment - she always suffers terribly with teething. I just wondered if the canines come through any faster than the other teeth or is that just wishful thinking???

My DSs canines came through much much easier than his molars (he had two febrile convulsions when the molars where coming through). I hate teething. Hope shes ok
