Has anyone any experience of fennels seeds relieving constipation. DD has bad constipation and the HV advised fennel seeds. Has anyone tried this and did it work?

thanks

from googling it seems you add a few fennel seeds to warm water and then drink the water. Have you tried prunes/prune juice as they are supposed to work too?

Fennel is also good for flatulence, you can get fennel teas.
From my experience best foods to ease constipation are flaxseeds, beetroot/beetroot juice, prunes, liquids generally and also probiotics.
