is this normal after a viral infection?

ds has been poorly with a viral infection temp not eating hardly anything and a viral rash hes 99% better and will prob be going back to school tomorrow but hes been to the toilet 3 times already today and its quite smelly and loose
is this normal from where hes been poorly and not eating?

anyone?

i wouldnt send him back to school with loose bowels incase it is a D and V bug.

well he shouldnt have a d&v bug we havnt been anywhere! and hes fine in himself now

if his poo smells different ,it can be a sign of an infection.
But sometimes loose stools are just a reaction to having a high temp. glad he is feeling better though.

well i know hes getting better because he driving me mad!!
but hes still got a bit of a rash and hes come out with blisters on his hand so i think ill pop him to the gp tomorrow
i just cant believe hes been to the toilet 4 times today when hes eaten bugger all for 3 days!!

My lo has a viral infection - so the doctor thinks, hasn't eaten much either but still a little loose on the nappy side.

I am allowing 48 hours until taking to any groups etc. 48 hours after the last loose nappy.

could it be hand foot and mouth?

pop there seems to be alot going round at the moment a few of my friends little ones have had temps ect ill keep him off school just incase and pop him back to the docs tomorrow as he still has the rash

hes had hand foot and mouth and was really ill with it i dont think its that and hes alot better today temps back to normal and hes starting to drive me mad again! so i know hes getting better!
