my 8 month old baby seems to be struggling to do a poo and when something does come it's like hard rabbit droppings. She's feeding well, lots of fruit & drinking plenty of water. Any advice?

When my DD had that a friend who was a HV said it showed she was a bit constipated and could do with more water if poss, or try fresh orange juice (if they don't usually have it, it can speed things up apparently). ditto strawberries. My sister swears by prune juice for her DS to keep things going.
SOme say avoid bananas as thy can slow things down.
if it continues for a while I would ask doc or HV.

My dd used to do that (and still does to a certain extent), doctor advised me to increase her fluids which help(s) enourmously.
