She is 6. They are her baby teeth. Does that automatically mean a filling?

I'm a bit scared of the dentist tbh. We always have a family appointment (me, DH and 2 dds) and in her appt last Summer the dentists counted all her teeth and saw no problems.

I guess I have to get her checked.

I feel really emotionaly and like I must have been feeding her crap for the last 5 years She does brush her teeth pretty well and I often check, and repeat the brushing just to be sure.

No it doesn't automatically mean a filling or that you have been feeding her crap! This happens to may children. Take her to the dentist, they will have seen far worse.

Thanks belgo. Will make the appointment later.

Having severe bad mummy pangs of guilt.

Aww, EV, maybe it's just a little stain/discoloration? The dcs are going next month and I'm a little nervous as we are more than a little behind schedule with dental visits!

Not at all EV. I have had a brown mark on one of my back teeth all my life (or since I got adult teeth) and it is merely discolouration. I'm 41 29 and have never had a filling. Away with your guilt!
