How many Glycerol suppositories for child

Hello, have you ever used Glycerol suppositories, my child's bowel is impacted (fecal impaction) and we are now taking mineral oil and Glycerol suppositories for evacuation the feces.
How many a day better to use as I am afraid too much usage of them can irritate her bottom, today we used 3. The pharmacist told maximum for child is 6. Your experience ? please

we had to use these once.
My son is on Movicol for fecal impaction and we had to go through the whole 'evacuation ' process.

ask about movicol as it is great!

We used 1 suppository - infant ones.

it took 1 hour to work.
but we used 2 on a different occasion and they had no effect at all...

not much help I know but wanted you to know you arent the only one going through this.
