DD (2.5yo) with vaginal discharge. Is it thrush?

DD (2.5yo) has recently potty trained and I've started to notice a few tiny stained spots in her knickers (could almost be a few spots of wee but it looks a bit greenish ) and they smell a bit funny. Today I noticed that there was a bit of some kind of discharge around her vagina when I was washing her. The area also looked a bit sore and pink.

I haven't noticed her scratching or complaining that it hurts.

Anyone any ideas what it is? Should I rush her off to the GP or should I see if it sorts itself out with a bit of live yoghurt and avoiding soapy baths etc...?

I'd take her to the gp and get it checked

DD has just had this, i took her to GP who took a swab and gave us some cream for fungal infection while we waited. Swab was clear and she just said sometimes little girls do get a discharge but it shouldn't be itchy or smelly..hope this helps

DD1 had this too, a few months ago. We got her checked for a UTI but nothing could be found and it went away. No idea what it was.

Thanks. That's reassuring. No discharge today. I'll just keep an eye on it.
