Slapped cheek - v. red cheeks but not a rash?

Anyone help - DD2 had a cold virus/temp a couple of weeks agao which turned into a chest infection (antibiotics finished last wednesday and no temp since). However she has had bright red cheeks since yesterday am. No sign of a rash on her face just solid red cheeks.
No indication that she is teething.

Is this slapped cheek? As i understand it, if it was, it isn't infectious now? We are about to go for tea at neighbours (who we dont know very well so a bit awkward to ask if she might be pregnant!!)

thanks

Could be so unless you are certain is isn't slapped cheek, don't go round to anyone's house. Not worth risking anything infectious

Have a good look on her body as I understand that often the rash can be very faint somewhere on the body or else no rash at all anywhere, just the red cheeks.
