When can I take my poxy boy out in public?

My 2 year old boy has chicken pox. The spots first appeared on sunday morning, so he's only had it for 5 days, but already almost all of the spots feel dry and crusty, except the few under his nappy which haven't had much air.

When will it be ok to take him out in public? His cousin is in a show on saturday and I was really hoping to take him on his first trip to the theatre, but obviously I don't want to risk infecting anybody else.

5 days from onset of rash and they can return to nursery so you should be fine
