To wee or not to wee.....

That is the worry. DD 2.8 appears to have the bladder of a horse. She will wee just after she gets up aboout 7 am, the has breakfast two weetabix plenty of milk, maybe half a tumbler of water, snack of apple at 10ish, water/milk available all day, eats lunch 1ish another few sips of water, and she often does not wee until 3!

So 7am to 3pm should I worry? she then has a wee usually after dinner about 5 and then at half six before bed. On occasion it does smell strong but thats it.

I don't think its anything to worry about at all. My 2 dd's are poles apart one can't seem to go for more than an hour or two yet the other will go just before bed and unless prompted will not go again til after breakfast and then again mid afternoon with a poo (sorry tmi). I just think it'll help in those future trips to festivals and the like when she'll be able to last all day

Have to say it did remind me of my student drinking days once you weed during a drinking session the seal was broken to so speak and ya had to go regularly then!

lol we talk about the 'seal being broken' thing too. Its so true.

My DC always amaze me in that when they get up in the morning they don't have to go for a wee before doing anything else. Often they'll start breakfast or watch TV or whatever and then decide a bit later that they need to go

My dd has a bladder the size of Belgium I think. She pees after breakfast then doesn't go again until we get home after school. Generally around nine hours before she goes again. She sounds like a horse when she does go. I was concerned about it because she has said it makes her tummy hurt if it gets too full, but the doctor told me she wasn't doing herself a mischief and there was clearly something more important to do.
