Cyst on eyeball?

Ds, 1yo, had what I thought was conjunctivitis this weekend (red sore eye, yellowy discharge), gave him some drops and the discharge has got a lot better. Took him to the gp this morning just to check and gp said he's fine.

But tonight I have noticed that he has a small jelly like bump on the white of his eye, a bit like a spot or cyst surrounded by redness. It doesn't seem to bother him at all and he's behaving like his normal self. Does anyone know what this could be and what I should do about it? Should I take him back to the doctor? Is it normal?

Thanks!

How is he today?

DD had this - it was bad conjunctivus and cleared up with steroid and anti-biotic drops.

Go back to the GP just to make sure but try not to worry unduly.

Thanks both, it is a bit better today with the drops from the gp so maybe it was conjunctivitis - just couldn't find anything online that said a lump on the eyeball was a symptom!
