My DS was a bit under the weather yesterday, had very smeel wind and 3 poo's which were quite soft. He went to bed ok and slept through the night.

On waking this morning he just hasn't been himself, not reallt crawling about just very cuddly. He has already been to sleep twice today without a fight(usually i struggle to get him to sleep at all). He has had 2 breastfeeds, a bit of breakfast/toast and lots of water.

I have spoken to NHS direct eventually a doctor on call got back to me to tell me to keep his fluids up as he has a bug??

But i am still really worried as so out of character and sleepy?

Anyone have any advice ? or similar experience, please x

Hi,

I know from experience when kids more so in babies when there ill they are very sleepy and tend to sleep alot, my 2 always did and i worked in a nursery and all where the same.

But obviously, if he is floppy or hard to wake up, etc then call NHS again.
