At what ages do the HV do child checks? The last time i saw my HV was in June 2010, she use to come every two weeks due to PND but then when i got a job she said she wouldnt need to see me again unless i needed her. I thought though children have checks at 2yr old & 3 yr old etc etc but the last check my children had were 1yr check and 2yr check?

Am i right in thinking a HV should stay in contact with parents of children who have suffered from PND? I feel that i am at home now since quitting my job that i should ring the HV and get her do the checks or am i wrong?

In our area they dont do 8 month or 2 year checks and the last one ds had was at 8 weeks. If you have any questions contact the hv yourself - no need to wait for them to come to you.
