Birthmark question

Ds2 (4 months) has had a spidery red mark on his eyelid since birth, spookily in exactly the same spot as ds1 did (now 3 years).

Unlike ds1, whose disappeared within a few months, ds2's seems to be getting darker and more like a solid 'patch', now covering half of the eyelid.

I know nothing about birthmarks and attempts to google for info just bring up scary stuffs on 'serious' birthmarks, which I wouldn't class this as.

It doesn't detract in any way from how gorgeous he is but I was wondering whether such marks can get bigger as the child grows. People keep asking me if he's bumped his face .

As an aside, ds1 also has a strawberry birthmark exactly where I had one as a child.

Bumping and hoping that someone has experience of this.

Both my daughters have/had this. DD1 now 9 and it is barely noticeable and only slighly obvious because she is so pale skinned. DD2 is 11 weeks old and her's does not seem to be lessening at all and possibly is a deeper colour - she also has an 'angel kiss' between her eyes. The way I'm looking at it is that at the moment nothing can or would be done about it anyway and I reckon the positive is that it's obviously a genetic thing and if one faded then so will the other. I'd be more worried if no one else in family had anything like it and then I'd be believing the scary medical sites. Strangely none of my sons had this.
