Newborn Ingrown Toe Nails??

My 6 week old has both big toes looking like the nails are ingrown. One toe is red and looks sore

How are ingrown nails treated in newborns?? Anyone ever had this??

On another note his right ear seems to have lots of watery ear wax, enough to stain his ear lobes in the morning. I am off to doctors Tuesday to get all this sorted but in the meantime any thoughts??

My son has the nail thing, with one looking quite sore. I got the doctor to swab it and it came back clear. He's 7m now, and the nail still looks a bit odd, but hasn't caused him any problems. So it may not be a thing.

Don't know about the ear wax though...

Ds2 had ingrowing looking toenails when newborn, they seem to have corrected themselves now at 12 months. I'd be concerned that its red though. See what dr says tues. Might be worth putting antiseptic cream on until then.
