Rash help

My son has developed a rash It starts as a bumpy, white rash and develops into a flat red rash which in parts almost looks like a red wine stain. Has anyone seen this before?

It has appeared this evening. He was very sick and had an upset tummy last night.

Today he seemed to be quite well.

He doesn't have any symptoms like this. This was obviously the first thing I thought about. He ate his dinner and was larking about before bed well after the rash developed.

We have been thinking of everything he has eaten/touched etc! Had to be the Easter weekend of course. May need to be a trip to casualty tomorrow.

is he allergic to something,sounds a bit like urticaria

is it itchy?
