I took DS to the docs yesterday as the area round his anus had become really red and sore. I thought it was a nappy rash type thing as sometimes he will not let anyone know if he has wet himself. Anyway, the doc has diagnosed thrush and prescribed some Canesten cream to apply for the next 2-3 weeks.
I just wondered how common this is and whether there is anything I can do to stop it happening again. I've found a lot of threads on here about girls having it but not boys.
