Reassure me please- dd not eating

Dd is 3.6 and hasn't eaten anything since last Thursday. I took her to dr on monday who gave her antibiotics for swollen tonsils. But she still hasn't eaten, will drink water but am really worried.

I'm taking her back to the dr this afternoon but wondered if anyone else has had similar in their dcs and what sorted it.

have you tried cold things like ice cream, ice lollies, etc which would cool a sore throat and get a few calories into her?

Tried it but doesn't want it. Have cancelled docs appt as friend took her to mcdonalds out for lunch somewhere very healthy and nutritious and she ate quite a bit.

Lol, it's often what they fancy after being poorly! Hopefully she's got her appetite back now.
