How do I know if my daughter has reflux?

My daughter is coming up for 6 weeks old - I express all my milk so she is bottle fed with breast milk. In the last few weeks, she has projectile vomited a couple of times, but has recently been posseting a lot after feeds. Could this be that she is just drinking too quickly - ie should I change bottles? Or could this be reflux?

Help please!

How do I get a PH probe organised? I too don't want to go down the drugs route unless necessary

I would strongly recommened that you should talk to your doctor if she's not keeping anything down. When my son was 3 weeks old he had occasional projectile vomiting and generally throwing up after every feed. In his case it turned out to be Pyloric Stenosis and he needed an operation to correct it.

chil1234 - she is keeping most of her feeds down and has only projectiled twice. How does the doctor know if it is reflux - do they have to do a test or do they examine the child. How did they find out that your son had Pyloric Stenosis?
