Still teething at 3? Help, so much night crying

This week DD been complaining about a random mouth pain, stopped her eating chocolate so I thought maybe an ulcer. Been in with a torch and cannot see anything.

So, no temperature, no white tonsils, crying a lot a night, saying 'ow' when biting sometimes. Has a running nose, v blocked up.

I am loosing my mind with sleep deprevation.

She has a history of night terrors.

Just managed to convince her to take some nurofen in the hope it will help.

Should I have been to docs by now? No temp makes me think no infection and she is fine during the day if not a little clingy.

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

There are molars that come in at 3. 4 in all.

So yes, very possibly teething!

has your lo got 20 teeth already? If so then it wont be teething as they dont get the next set till the age of 5/6. If she hasnt got 20 teeth then she could be getting her 2 year molars a bit late.

teething chart

Thanks guys, will try to count them tomorrow, I was so sure she had them all but she let me put my finger in her mouth today and found a bit og gum with no teeth protruding, pressed lightly and asked if that was where is hurt and she nodded. Gave nurofen....

Seona, thanks for teething chart, will make a proper study of her mouth tomorrow.

Fingers crossed for a better night! Am shattered!
