DS (2)has developed a divergent squint in a week - gone from pefectly straight eyes to one that turns in completely, all the time.
Not a complete shock as this runs in our family and he has been under an orthoptist since birth, just in case (they were going to discharge him at next appointment). However, nursery said today that he has been very off balance and falling over lots - very unusual for him. As a health care professional, all I am now thinking is brain tumour. Was thinking of calling orthoptist to get appointment brought forward if possible (not til May). What do you think?

Give them a call and see what they think. I too also always think the worst but to be honest a bad squint (esp. one that is new and that you are not used to) is enough to make anyone fall over.

My friend's dd developed a squint (seemly overnight) and she turned out to be very long-sighted.

Got him booked in for tomorrow.
Thanks
