tummy bugs

does anyone know if you can catch norovirus/tummy bugs by being approx 2-3 ft from a child whose sibling has a bug, i get very anxious about this and am panicing.

my dd was with the child yesterday and then found out that sibling had bug, although my dd was approx that distance away and in the fresh air and didn't touch the other child.

what a state to get in, but can't help it.

It is very unlikely in my opinion but I know you won't stop worrying until three days have passed without symptoms. I get just like you so I feel for you; it's a horrible anxiety. I get into a total state if we come into contact with anyone with a sickness bug and it happens so often with DS1 in Year 1 and DS2 at nursery.
