Watery eye in 7 week old

My dd 7 weeks has had a poorly eye since Monday, it was watering and then monday night was gunky, i took her to the gp who said prob conjunctivitis and just bathe with warm water when sticky.

Since Tuesday it hasent been sticky or gunky at all but is constantly watering, so much so even when she is asleep there is water running down her cheeks.

Could this be conjunctivitis if not gunky or worth another trip to gp?

It sounds like a blocked tear duct, it's really common in newborns. It's best to keep it clean. She'd be crying if it was conjunctivitis and it will be red and sticky.
