Anyone has an angel toddler turned devil by a flu??

I just don't recognize my daughter anymore! She is running a very high fever and she's turned into a total monster! Even when I give her the medicine and the fever breaks she won't eat a thing, play with her toys or even watch the telly, she just starts screaming and goes on for hours...I'm holding out hope that it's reversible!!!

Thx! Actually the worst part is being unable to help her out of her misery (along with being worried because she refuses to eat anything)....she's 22 mo and quite good usually so to see her so unlike herself is strange..hope she goes back to her old self once the illness is gone...

Totally normal for ill wee one to become very difficult.
She'll get back to her old self when she feels better. Hopefully soon. Very tough going though.

My 16 month old has been perfect up untill this weekend. He never has tantrums and smiles and laughs constantly. Took him the docs, who say he has tonsilitis. He has ust screamed in a really high pitch, wont be cuddled, wont eat, wont play.
Hoping it will get better soon, and my lovely boy will come back
Must say, it is very stressfull. Just feel lucky that he's not allways like that !!

My dd is just like your little one, all smiles, no tantrums, doesn't cry even when she falls...but with this flu she started throwing tantrums like there's no tomorrow!
I hope too this passes
On top of everything she does no longer sleep through, long days with her are uber stressful as dh shows up late evening and I no longer have time for dd1 poor girl!
