Hi, my 4 year old daughter has got a sniffy nose, she won't blow her nose.

It's usually worse at night and it often sounds like she's got a cold. I've often put the vaporiser on and it seems to help her to sleep.

The sniffing usually sounds bad in the morning but seems to dry up during the day tho today it's bad. She can sound coldy in the morning but again it seems to get better during the day. She has no other symptoms.

Does this sound like a low lying cold or maybe a pet allergy ????

We do have a cat.

Oh, has anyone any ideas how I can get her to blow her nose??? When i tell her how to do it, she just blows raspberries.

Thanks

Thanks PixieOnaleaf. I was thinking it was it might be pet allergy cos of the cat, it seems to be better when she is at school.

Will look into the bedding and the Piriton.

Just tried to get to clamp her hand over her mouth and tried to get her to breathe into a tissue, didn't work, sigh!!!!! Plan c
