Ds had sight and hearing screen today, hearing needs to be re-checked...help

I can't get through to the school nurse but it is just a standard card that came home in his book bag saying hearing needs an additional check which is common. Anyone has this? Should i be worried? Not noticed anything about his hearing. It's his birthday today and I was having such a good day, well still am but just a little concerned. Any advice appreciated x

ds was borderline then retested ok . A cold or just being distracted can skew the underlying result. Glue ear is a very common cause of temporary hearing loss under the age of 7 however and the earlier it is detected the better.

I was retested at school. Am fine.

My dd's hearing (glue ear) and myopia were both picked up at school [negligent mum]. She had several tests with the nurse for hearing and when it became clear that there was something that needed treating she went to an ENT doctor and had grommets put in.
