Measles outbreak at nursery

My DD2 turned 1 on Monday. She was due her first MMR shot tomorrow but I was going to change it to next week as she is still recovering from a nasty cold - still coughing a bit with a slight runny nose. However, we were told yesterday that a child had at the same nursery had a confirmed case of measles. Should I go ahead with the vaccination anyway?

Phone the clinic and ask their advice.

I think you need to ask your GP.
AFAIK a slight infection is not a contradiction to MMR, but the doctor will be able to decide.
The fact that there might be an outbreak at the nursery would be a point in favour imo.

Good advice - have left a message for nurse to ring me. Thanks ladies!
