My dd has hardly slept all night as she is very wheezy with a cold. She had puffs of ventolin through the night and I gave her 10 puffs about an hour ago but it has not really helped.

Shall I take her to out of hours clinic at the hospital before GP opens as I think she may need nebuliser and steroids or will GP surgery have a nebuliser ?

I cant take her any where for hour or so as need to wait for GP to be awake to take ds

any advice much needed as I am worried

she is lethargic and c/o tummy ache from the wheezing

Morning - I would phone NHS 24/ out of hours GP and see what they think. Take Care

hi, hope all is ok, you really need to take her to the out of hours clinic, she sounds like she needs a neb. the gp should have one, but she needs it sooner rather than later.

I crush and mix with a little bit of juice for ds, have you tried that?

Try putting a damp towel on the radiator to keep air in room moist, and maybe a bowl of water next to it as well. If in doubt I would take him to out of hours GP, thats what they are there for
