Am I being stupid? Would the GP do anything?

I don't know whether I'm being really stupid about not taking DC3 to the drs - he's 15 months, has been vomiting since Saturday night, not kept any food down but is drinking lots (occasionally comes back up) and meds. Has fever of 38-39 that dips slightly with the calpol/nurofen. He's very floppy, sleepy and clingy, sleeping most of the day but will take water (and has wet nappies).

I haven't taken him to the GPs because I thought it would have passed by now (winter vomiting is usually 48 hours, no?) plus the weather is atrocious here and I have two older DCs and am pulling in all my favours getting other people to help with the school run.
But he did have some breakfast and hasn't thrown up today. Can't speak to my GP on the phone just now as they're shut for two hours over lunch - would they be able to do anything if they did see him? He has jsut got over tonsilitis for which he was on penicillin - could this be scarlet fever? I hate it when they're so floppy, he must be losing so much weight.

My policy - when in doubt, give GP a shout!

I used to dither about contacting GP but I don't any more. Nearly lost DD through worrying about 'mithering the doctor'.

i would take him tbh

vomiting for 3 days and floppiness - I would take him and I am very reticent to rush to the doctors.
