Any ideas? 3.2 year old temp for couple of days, no other obvious symptoms

My DD has had a temperature since at least yesterday (could be longer as she was at Grandparents for weekend and they aren't always that observant!). There are no other obvious symptoms, apart from an occassional cough which she has had for over a month now since a bout of croup, the Dr said cough would last for a couple of months so I haven't been concerned about it.
Does anyone have any ideas what it could be? She seems quite tired (but has had disturbed nights) and is looking pretty pale, hasn't eaten much today but did eat yesterday.
Thanks.

how high is the temp?
my DD is the same age, and gets UTIs from time-to-time. The only signs for her are lethargy, slightly reduced appetite, and a sky-high temp (39-41 degees).

If it's only been a day or two, could just be a cold but not got to the snotty bit yet maybe? Every child I know is a snot filled horror at the moment

Its not that high, about 38.2.

Its a bit weird, but I guess as everyone keeps saying, there are lots of strange bugs going round at the moment. I've made a Drs appt for tomorrow, I tend to be paranoid as dd was hospitalised when she was four months with a viral chest infection, it was similar to this, no other symptoms except temperature and prob because of her age very very lethargic, you would never have guessed she had a chest infection, there was no cough and no snot!

When my DD had a temperature with no other symptoms it turned out to be a UTI. She was very little though and the temperature was around 39.
