Suitable vitamin drops for a baby?

Hi my son (7 months) has recently started at a childminders. Since he has been mixing with other children he has had 2 colds, winter vomiting bug and chicken pox. HV suggested vitamin drops and told me to get ABIDEC but I see that the vitamins are mixed in withe peanut oil - and I am not happy giving that to my baby.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I gave Abidec to my DD1 when she was a baby. To be honest it's a good ay of finding out if they have a nut allergy and you are there with them rather than finding out later and maybe not being. I'm sure it's safe for them.

Thanks - I am just being very fussy I think as I am a new mum.

BTW does anyone know how to get rid of a duplicate post as I managed to list it twice

My 16 month is going through a bad run of viral conditions. I have just bought some minidex tonic stuff - it has iron in it that the vitamin drops didn't have. This is according to the owner of the chemist who I was asking what's the best thing to get. But not sure what age they can have it from...

DD has been on DALIVIT since birth just checked the info and they do not contain peanut oil. (very explictly stated in info)

tbh tho' if he's mixing with other children I think that 2 cold's is average and the other stuff isn't going to be prevented with vitamins it's more the luck of the draw and now he's had CP he's less likely to have that again
