Help, not sure what to do with this rash

Hello everyone, just posted this on nappies section but was wondering if someone around here would have experience with this. My 2yo boy uses real nappies and he has developed a kind of rash that I am not sure how to deal with. It is on the side of the legs and on his testicles . It looks like wee pimples, small red spots usually affecting a small area of about 2cm roundish. I have tried Metanium and Conotrane, but not sure if that is what I should be using. Have to say that didn't use Metanium long enough maybe just 2 applications. Has anyone here seen this type of rash and what did you use? Many thanks.

could be a reaction to ammonia in his wee. Keep up with the metanium or get some canestan from doc incase it is thrush.

Thank you very much for your replies. Will try nappy free time as much as I can (try not to think about accidents on carpet and change him more often. Your advices are very much appreciated (runs now to cupboard to check towels and mats to the floor

yeah sure screaming, that would last about 5 minutes at the most lol, had three accidents on carpets so far with wee and a number 2 on the vynil grrrrrrrrr, I am sure I will survive , but on a positive note rash seems to be drying a bit with the metanium not as 'angry' red looking as it was before, so fingers crossed... I am exhausted lol
