DD (13 months) came out in a rash overnight. DH took her straight to the GP who saw her straight away.

He said it could be viral or due to her hib/men injection last Wed.

He also said it could be Rubella.

If she gets a fever, swollen glands, vomits we should take her to hospital.

She not been sick but brought up a mouth full of milk, more like blow backs.

shes been running around all day happy as larry, eating and drinking.

So I'm not too concerned.

Rash fades under pressure.

Ive read its a mild infection and not really dangerous to the child but PG women should stay away.

Is there anything else to look out for.

Even though shes fine in herself I suffer anxiety and sometimes its hard not to panic, I know shes ok but just looking for reassurance

I would say its more likely to be linked to the injection she had, dd2 always reacted to injections with a rash or fever.

Try not to worry, i know its hard, i suffer from anxiety mainly linked to illness and my dd's getting sick, as long as she seems fine in herself i would say theres no need to worry.

Thankyou, i know its probably viral as her older brothers deal with virus' in exactly the same way,

but a 'rash' just scares the hell out of me, even when she is fine and it fades undr pressure, its just something im always nervous about.
