Diarrhoea on Aptimil

Hello, this is my first time on here and altho I feel a bit out of my comfrot zone, I need some advice. My DS was fine on SMA, so naturally we decided to go with SMA for our DD, who is now 5 wks old. She didn't seem to enjoy it, so we changed to Aptimil, while she enjoys this more, her bum has become really sore. Could it be just the changeover process, or should I get her to the GP?

I had similar problems when changing formula for my baby. You could try easing her in - eg if you are making up 3oz milk, use 2 scoops of SMA and 1 of Aptimil. Then increase the proportion of Aptimil gradually. Not sure if this is medically sound advice, but it worked for me. Also, might be good to show her to a midwife/health visitor/GP in any case.
