My 16 month old has been ill prettyuch since early Jan. Had tummy bug, blisters in mouth ( Dr said viral).

Just cleared the blisters then yesterday he started with an annoying cough ( every minute cough cough), runny nose and just on his face a few pin prick spots.

Today he got a temperature of 39.5 so dosed with medicines. Off food. Tonight he's been sick several times.

Can't decide if it's that tummy bug going around or something I should get him to Dr about....

Am being more concerned as usual as there was a case of measles in our village whom my ES may have in contact with when contagious.

It's likely he's caught a series of infections. Viruses are no different from bacterial infections in terms of their effects on the body. Every child gets between 10 and 20 cold type infections every year for the first few years, that's how they build immunity.

Alternate Calpol and Neurofen to keep his temperature down, strip him off if he's too hot and try not to worry, these things pass very quickly in little ones.
