Excessive sleeping in 23m old, should I be worried?

That's it really, she doesn't have a cold, but has slept all day and is asleep now. Had a cold 10 days ago, followed by a virus and rash all over body, now sleeping for Britain. Given her calpol, but a bit worried, this isn't like her. She hates sleeping.

Has she got any other symptoms now? Are you able to wake her?

She will wake up and stare zombie like at you, drink some water and then go back to sleep. She also managed to eat a jaffa cake (daddy looking after her today so nothing healthy offered).

She may just be sleeping as her body's still recovering from her illness, I think that you should contact NHS direct though and get her checked by the out of hours, just to be safe. Is her colour OK? Blue lips/around her mouth?
