DD3 has been projectile vomming all day. Have managed to get some mashed bananna and rice water down her and that seems (at the moment) to be staying down. She now has a temperature. Can't tell you what it is because flipping thermometer broken, but she's a lot hotter than usual. Am worried as DD2 had a febrile convulsion when she was 18mo.

Can I give DD3 medicine to get the fever down or will it just make her sicker?

Thanks

Need to go to GP..but yes, look at the back of the bottles and give according to the dosages.
I would not give solids though but keep her fluid intake high/milk/water
If it is a tummy bug, feeding her will make her vomit.
Have a better day!x

could do but it might be worth using a cooling strip thing on the head. Will help with temp and not dependant on staying inside fragile tummy. Cool'n'sooth is one brand think there might be others, old wet flannel might work - fore head and back of neck.

Hope gets better soon
