suddenly noticed a tic, ds2(4yo), anything to worry about/look out for?

Ds2 (4yo) himself seems to be unaware that he's doing it, but he "constantly" draws up his shoulders and makes a movement with his head as if heading a ball into a goal. This happens more when he gets excited. He's been doing it for a while, but noticed over the last couple of weeks that it is getting more intense/common (before he just shrugged his shoulders).

Just wanted to check here how common this is, what to look out for, etc. At this moment I am not particularly worried, but just looking for advice.

My DS at the same age developed a habit of swallowing/gulping. I think its a comfort thing. He's 6 now and still does it sometimes but not as much.

my sons best friend had/has it and it started to show itself when he was abou 8. I think it is called chorea and should be looked at by the doc

just a shameless bump really with a small update:

ds has been complaining of seeing things double today. and he's been a bit grumpy and difficult lately.

i think i'll make an appointment with gp, just to make sure nothing sinister is going on...

no other worries. he's a clever cookie, if anything he's ahead, because of his older brother teaching him "all the tricks".
he can write a little, read a little (just familiar words like his name, mama, papa, yes, no etc), and has just learned from his older brother to do simple sums, like 4+4.
he'll start reception in sept.
