I think my DD2 (16 weeks tomorrow) may have reflux. For the last 5 or so weeks she has been getting really upset between 30 mins and an hour after some of her feeds (the ones at approx 10am and 2:30pm). She cries - it's really high pitched - and thrashes about until she possets, but what comes up is often fairly sold and digested-looking. This is very different from my DD1 who possetted constantly, but it was always just milky and she always seemed perfectly happy with it.
The other night DD2 was having her dreamfeed (a bottle of EBM) and suddenly started squealing and, according to my DH who was giving the feed, thrashing about. It sounds like she might have been arching her back. I went upstairs and held her upright at which point she was breathing really fast and then went to sleep.
She's generally quite happy to lie on her back in her baby gym and sleeps fine in her basket at night or in her pram, which makes me think she's ok. But is it normal (or at least not unusual) for a baby to be behaving like this after feeding or should I take her to the GP?
