Hi my dd (who is absolutley fine apart from this) hassuddenly got a rash on her torso and back. It developed in the bath/ drying. I'm just trying to do the glass test to put my mind at rest as its spreading quicl;y. If I stretch the skin with my fingers and the rash goes away is that the same a the glass test- as I struggle to see the rash through the glass ( as its pale pink spots/ lumps.)

I don't do the washing/ cleaning so I don't know if its a reaction to something as my dp is out on a long run and is therefore uncontactable.

She is 7 months - I'm waiting a call back from nhs any ideas?

Does she have temp? Is she her normal self in every other way? If you push or put pressure on the skin with your fingers does it fade/dissapear?

rash fades when put pressure on- she is fine in every other way. I've swapped her vest and wiped her torso as I've discovered my dp has changed washing powder- I could kill him!

Hopefully just a reaction- rash seems textured iyswim

do any of these look like the rash?

MrsVidic · 10/02/2010 21:10

no not as obvious as those- thanks for the link. She's in bed now and i just want to cuddle her all night but she's FINALLY learnt to self settle in her cot
