My 2yrs 10m boy has had a night (and sometimes in the day) cough for 5months now following a cold. Have been to docs 5times, he's had 2 lots of anti-biotics one did nothing one slightly worked for few days then it just came back. Also got 2 different Asthma inhalers for him as I have Asthma and 2 of the 3 docs we have seen think he might have that but im not sure! Sometimes it sounds dry but as the night goes on it gets more mucousy and chesty sounding. Docs say his chest is clear when they listen to it and one was talking about chest x-rays!!! Last night he coughed loads before midnight then was coughing between 2.30am and 4.30am, but the night before he only coughed when he woke at 6.45am! Am thinking of asking doc to send him to specialist as had enough, anyone had the same problem?!?! Thanks x
