New teeth at 3.5 years?

Hello

Are kids still getting teeth aged 3 and s half?

DD says the backof her lower jaw is sore and won't go near it with a toothbrush. Can she be getting more teeth at this stage or do I need to consider other causes?

Thanks.

It could be her back molars, dd1 didn't get hers until she was almost 4 (i think dd2 has hers at 3.9).

Good, thanks. There is a space back there.

Was worried for a moment that I'd allowed her to get a cavity.

can you count her teeth? if she has 20 already then it won't be a new tooth..if not then it probably is...
