Does ringworm have have other symptoms?

After doing a highly scientific diagnosis using google images, I think that ds has ringworm.

Does it have other symptoms as he's been off his food for a couple of days and had a temperature and headache at night?

My two have had it and can't say I noticed any other symtons apart from the obvious redness.

They had it on the backs of their knees and the dr just treated it with canesten and a bit of hydrocortisone cream.

The rash starts off as a red patch then the inside turns white so it looks like a ring.

Take him the dr to get it confirmed though especially as he is feeling rough too.

I just took Ds along to our lovely local pharmacist who knew what it was and gave us the cream. No other symptoms that I recall though.

Thanks. Think i'll take him to the docs tom am because of the other symptoms.

its just normally a bit itchy and red with a whtish border round it
